ALENA ZINOVEVA | VIOLIN

 

Born in Moscow in 1992, Alena Zinoveva started playing the violin at the age of 8. From the age of 15, Ms. Zinoveva attended the Central School of art, in Khimki, where she was taught the violin and piano, as well as attending courses in composition, having later successfully joined the violin class of Evgeny Durnovo at the Gnesin College of Music, while still pursuing further studies in composition and conducting. Alena Zinoveva is a graduate of the Moscow’s Tchaikovsky State Conservatoire, in the violin class of Sergey Kravchenko and also in the chamber music classes of Vladimir Balshin and Dmitry Kaprin. Furthermore she graduated the Tchaikovsky State Conservatoire’s Master of Music degree in Solo Interpretation.


Alena is a prize recipient of several international competitions. Ms. Zinoveva is also a two-time-recipient “Grant of the President of Russian Federation”, and the recipient of a personal scholarship by Professor Zakhar Bron in 2010. Since 2016, a regular member of the Richter Trio, founded by composer Kirill Richter.
