Anastasiia Demidova was born in Tomsk, moved to St Petersburg with her family at the age of 6 and joined the Vaganova Ballet Academy aged 10. She graduated in 2018 with honours from the class of Yulia Kosenkova and joined the Mariinsky Ballet where she has danced in the corps de ballet in all of the company’s repertoire. Her featured roles have included «Mazurka» in Swan Lake, «Fairies» in A Midsummer Night's Dream, first line of «Shades» in La Bayadere and the leading character couple in Lavrosky's Romeo & Juliet. Anastasia teaches for ballet schools in London and also on balletclass.com.
