was born in Budapest. he is a graduate of the Hungarian Dance Academy and also studied at the Elmhurst Ballet School in England. From 1998 - 2000 he was a member of the Hungarian State Ballet, 2000|2001 of the Ballet Frankfurt, from 2001 to 2004 he was a solo dancer at the Lyon Opéra Ballet. In 2004 he returned as a soloist to the Hungarian State Ballet. In 2005 he was appointed semi-soloist at the Vienna State Opera and Volksoper Vienna. András Lukács has choreographed several pieces since 1999.
