CAFÉ CHINOIS
The Café Chinois is performing in the garden of Villa Carisch. On the noble Nevsky Prospect in St. Petersburg, Branger and Wolf are two emigrants from Davos who operate the noblest coffeehouse of the city. A frequent visitor of the coffeehouse is Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. He often sits in the Café, desperately searching for some kind of inspiration for a new Ballet - ultimately giving in to the world of sugar castles, marzipan fairies and chocolate goblins. - A piece of emigration history, wrapped in a charming Miniature choreographed by Eno Peçi.
