COMMEDIA «THE WHTIE SNAKE»
Emperor Karl rides through the garden of the Villa Carisch. Emperor Charlemagne holds court over a criminal toad that has occupied the White Snake's nest. The toad animal is sentenced to death by burning, the sentence is carried out immediately. The White Serpent thanks the Emperor with a wonderful gift: Charlemagne receives a gemstone with magical love power. Afterwards everything's different.
The legend is interpreted in a new and unconventional way by Origin's Commedia crew under the direction of Fabrizio Pestilli. Due to the current situation, this year's Commedia does not travel through the valleys of Grisons and Ticino as usual; the Commedia takes place in the garden of the Villa Carisch, under old trees, on a stage built especially for this purpose.

HOW TO FIND US
Privately you drive, coming from Basel or Zurich, via Chur, Thusis and Tiefencastel towards Savognin. In Cunter, just before Savognin, you turn right and arrive in Riom. The parking spaces in the village - at the former school building (MZH) - are limited. Therefore, please park directly at the entrance of the village of Riom on the car park opposite the turnoff to the castle.
SPOKEN LANGUAGE
