Christoph Schaller, born in Vienna on 01.03.1996, started his Balett education at the age of eight at the Ballettakademie der Wiener Staatsoper under the direction of Gyula Harangozó, which was later taken over by Manuel Legris. After his graduation he joined the Bayerisches Staatsballett 2 (today Bayerisches Jugedballett München), where he stayed for two seasons. There he has performed in many different dance styles of various well-known choreographer such as George Balanchine, Nacho Duato, Richard Siegal, August Bournonville and Hans van Manen. He has participated in performances of the National Theater such as «Spartacus» by Jurii N. Grigorovic and «Alice im Wunderland» by Christopher Wheeldon. After two years he decided to join the Südbömisches Theater in Budweis, Czech Republic. He stayed here for one season where he collaborated with the choreographer Petr Zuska, among ohters. Since August 2018 he is a member of the Graz Opera Ballet.
