Conal Francis-Martin grew up in Sydney and is of joint Australian and Canadian nationality. He studied in London at the English National Ballet School and performed several times with the ENB company. He has been part of the ballet ensemble of the Staatsballett Hannover since September 2015, firstly under the directorship of Jörg Mannes and then by Marco Goecke since 2019-23, for whom he has danced in highlighted works such as Nijinsky, Kiss a Crow, A Wilde Story (Marco Goecke), Skew Whiff (Sol Leon, Paul Lightfoot), Sway (Medhi Walerski) and Gods and Dogs (Jiri Kylian).

At Origen he dances in Robert Robinsons Ballet «The Artist's Way» (2023).
