The Fundaziun Origen was established in December 2007. The goal of the foundation is to support the Teater Origen and to develop it into a professional institution with high artistic aspirations and international renown.

The Fundaziun Origen is responsible for the infrastructure of Teater Origen, especially Riom Castle. It supports Teater Origen in all its actions both in Grisons and elsewhere and thereby fosters Rhaeto-Romanic theatre and culture. The foundation is a charity and has no economic objectives of any kind.
