The construction works in Sontga Crousch and the research of old photography and historic documents have brought new and interesting findings about the original condition of the family estate to light.

PAVING OF THE COURTYARD

During the construction at Sontga Crousch the workers came across an unexpected finding. A beautiful river pebble paving made of colorful stones of the region was hidden under the gravel in the courtyard. This kind of paving is typical for the elaborate aristrocrat buildings in those times. The old paving survived the different usages of the house and the courtyard and shall be restored to its old beauty.
