ISLA CLARKE
Isla Clarke is a Canadian dance artist and performer based in the Netherlands. She is a part of Nederlands Dans Theater 1 (previously Nederlands Dans Theater 2) where she has been able to work with Marina Mascarell, Damien Jalet, Sharon Eyal, Ohad Naharin, Johan Inger and Marco Goecke to name a few. As a trans woman, Isla hopes to use her body and trans identity as a way to challenge and question the culture of dance.
At Origen she danced in «Chaos» (2021) by Luca Andrea Tessarini.
