The tenor Jonas Frey initially studied Art and Art Education at the University for Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland in Basek and graduated from the Zurich University of the Arts. Since 2012 he is studying vocals with Hans Peter Blochwitz at the Berne University of the Arts. His main focus is the German classical song and the oratorio. His repertoire includes «Die schöne Müllerin» and "Winterreise" by Franz Schubert, as well as Robert Schumanns «Dichterliebe» and Haydns «Schöpfung».
