KAITO HOSOYA

 

Born in Akita, Japan. At the age of 2 began dancing at the Sato Yoko Ballet School in Japan. During the studies, he participated in several ballet competitions and received several

prizes.

 

In 2016, on the recommendation of the Russian ballet master Elena Lelenkova, entered the Bolshoi Ballet Academy and graduated in 2019. In each subject (classical dance, folk dance, duet dance) received the highest score.

 

He took part in school performances at the Bolshoi Theater as a soloist in the ballet «Gayanee», and also performed the part of Alan in the ballet «La fille mal gardée». In the same year, he began working at the Novosibirsk National Opera and Ballet Theater of Russia, where he performed many roles, including the Jester from «Swan Lake», 3 shepherds from «Spartacus», a solo part in Edvard Clug's «Radio and Juliet» and many other roles.

 

In 2022, he left the country due to the war, and since September of the same year he has been working at the State Ballet of Georgia as a soloist. Joined tours to Dubai and Italy. He performed the solo part in «Carmina Burana» by Ilia Jivoy, Basilio from «Don Quixote», Mercutio from «Romeo and Juliet», the Nutcracker doll from «The Nutcracker» and many others.

 

At Origen he danced in «No Words» (2023) by Ilia Jivoy.
