After training in booktrading the mezzo-soprano began studying vocals at the University of Luzern with Prof. Liliane Zürcher. She then continued her studies at the University of Music in Basel with Marcel Boone. She took classes with Margreet Honig, Paul Triepels, Tanja Ariane Baumgartner and Mariette Nollen. She deepened her repertoire in song at lessons with Peter Baur, Edward Rushton, Anton Kernjak and Roger Vignoles. She appears as a soloist at church and chamber music concerts. Laura Binggeli made guest appearances at the theatre Basel in 2016 and 2017 and was part of Origen's «Rachmaninov» in 2019. Laura Binggeli works as a vocal coach in Basel and Lucerne.
