Maria Chiara Bono was born in 1998 in Castelvetrano, Sicily and started dancing at the age of four. She completed her dance training at the Accademia Teatro alla Scala and joined the corps de ballet of the Bayerisches Staatsballett in the season 2017/18.

Repertoire danced includes: Alice in Alice im Wunderland (C. Wheeldon), Amor in Don Quijote (R. Barra/L. Minkus), Kairos (W. McGregor) and Pas de trois in Jewels (Emeralds) (G. Balanchine).
