The Bavarian soprano Maria Weber began her vocal studies at the University for Early Music in Trossingen with Maria Cristina Kiehr. In 2009 she continued her studies at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Evely Tubb and graduated in June 2012 with distinction. In 2014 she finished her masters degree in coval pedagogy. She is a member of the young vocal and instrumental ensemble «novantik projekt basel» and performs regularly for the Stuttgart chamber choir conducted by Frieder Bernius and for the J.S. Bach foundation St. Gallen.
