MAXIMILIAN VOGLER

 

The young tenor performs as a soloist throughout Germany and Switzerland. He has performed with the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, the baroque orchestras La Stagione Frankfurt, L'Arco Hannover and La Banda Augsburg, among others. He cultivates several chamber music formations, with a special focus on lieder. He made his debut at Zurich Opera House in a children's production at the end of 2019. He is a scholarship holder of the festival LIEDBasel and the Lyra Foundation, winner of the sponsorship prize of his hometown Constance and the music organisation Zürichsee, as well as participant of several international singing competitions. From 2012 - 2016 he studied at the HfM Detmold with Prof'in. Gerhild Romberger, where he received important impulses. Since 2016 he has been deepening his studies at the Zurich University of the Arts with Prof. Werner Güra. Master classes with Margreet Honig, Jard van Nes, Robert Holl, Benjamin Appl, Ann Murray, Graham Johnson, David Selig, Malcom Martineau and Julius Drake complete his education. 

 

He gained ensemble experience in the Vocalensemble Rastatt, the Kammerchor Stuttgart, the European Vocal Soloists, the larynx Vokalensemble, the Swiss Vocalconsort, the Kölner Akademie, the Ensemble Cantissimo and the Origen Ensemble Vocal. Concert tours have taken him to other European countries, Japan, China, South Korea, Israel, Colombia and the USA.
