Nancy Osbaldeston began her career with English National Ballet, where she won the Emerging Dancer Award in 2013 and received a nomination for a Critics Circle award for her performance as the Ballerina in Fokine’s «Petroushka». Now dancing as a principal with Ballet Vlaanderen and guest principal with Bayerisches Staatsballett she has performed roles such as Aegina in Grigorovich’s «Spartacus», Giselle in Akram Khan’s «Giselle», Lead Couple in Balanchine’s Rubies and Marie in John Neumeier’s «Nussknacker». Among others she has also performed works by Pina Bausch, William Forsythe, Ohad Naharin, Jirí Kylián, Johan Inger and Alexander Ekman. She has been in numerous creations by choreographers such as Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Itzik Galili, Jeroen Verbruggen and Juliano Nunes.
