Nikolaus Fluck was born in Frankfurt am Main and was a member of the boys' choir of the Limburg Cathedral Boys' Choir, where he already gained his first musical experience at concerts in Germany and abroad, as well as as as the 3rd boy in Mozart's Magic Flute at the Cologne Opera. After the boys' choir he studied school music, trumpet and singing at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts and at the CNSMD in Paris. His teachers included Carmen Mammoser, Prof. Bernhard Jaeger-Böhm, Yves Sotin and Prof. Cornelis Witthoefft. He is currently being supervised by Prof. Charlotte Lehmann in Hannover. He has participated in master classes with Peter Kooij, Margreet Honig, Emma Kirkby, Peter Harvey, Brigitte Fassbaender. Furthermore, he received important impulses from Stephan Genz, Susan Manoff and Anne Le Bozec. In connection with a master class with Dietrich Henschel, Nikolaus Fluck sang in 2016 in the festival series «accademia delle crete senesi» of Philippe Herreweghe in Asciano, Italy.

The young baritone can be heard at home and abroad in the field of art song and as a concert singer. For example in Handel's «Messiah», the requiem settings of Brahms and Duruflé, Rossini's «Petite Messe solennelle», Haydn's «Creation», Mendelssohn's «Elijah» and the major works and cantatas of Johann Sebastian Bach. In summer 2019 Nikolaus Fluck made his debut at several festivals in Portugal and France with the baritone part in C.P.E. Bach's «Resurrection and Ascension of Jesus» with Arsys Bourgogne (Mihaly Zeke) and Ensemble Pulcinella (Ophélie Gaillard).
