MOZART'S REQUIEM AT ZURICH MAIN STATION
Origen closes its year of Charlemagne with a «Requiem» for the deceased, with a great scenic state funeral in Switzerland's most public space. Images appear from the life of the emperor: Memories of past loves and lost battles, eclipsed moons and passed children. Apocalyptic visions, composed by Oliver Weber, are intertwined with Mozart's wonderful mass. Portraits of the emperor by Bowie Verschuuren overlook the space. The Requiem is a great farewell for emperor Charles at Zurich Main Station, voiced by Origen's Ensemble Vocal and the Zurich opera orchestra «La Scintilla». Directed by Origen's long-standing musical director, Clau Scherrer.
