grew up in the Rhaeto-Romanic Surselva. Besides her training to become a primary school teacher in Chur, she took classes with Maria Riccarda Wesseling and Hans Peter Blockwitz in Berne. She graduated her vocal studies with Prof. Kurt Widmer in 2004. In 2007 she graduated her concert diploma with focus on opera in Biel. Cadruvi was awarded several prizes and scholarships such as a prize from the Friedel-Wald Stiftung, the Bündner Förderpreis and the Prix Jeunesse of the Eliette von Karajan Fond. Rilana Cadruvi demonstrates a lively opera nad concert activity and performed at the festival «Toujours Mozart» in Vienna and Salzburg, at the Bodenseefestival and at ORIGEN. Verious CD- and broadcast  recordings bear witness to her activities as a singer.
