grew up in Trin, Grisons. He studied in Zurich with Stanley Clark and graduated with the concert diploma. He was the solo trombonist of the brass band Bürgermusik Luzern and of the Swiss Youth Symphonic Orchestra. He became the director of the brass band Sursilvana in autumn 2005. Roman Ceprez is oart of the Symphonic Orchestra Berne, the Symphonic Orchestra Aargau, the Sinfonetta Zug and the Collegium Musicum Lucerne. Roman Caprez also teaches at the Music School Ebikon.
