Stylist Sofia has been working as a stylist since 2012, cooperating together with leading Russian and foreign photographers, publications and international model agencies. A variety of advertising campaigns for major department stores, jewelry companies and well-known Russian and foreign clothing brands were created by Sofia. She also works with famous football players, musicians and artists of theater and cinema. As a costume designer, Sofia has been successfully working since 2015, creating costumes for the ballets of Ilya Zhivoi. All the costumes for the ballets «Connections» and «Four Seasons» (to the music of Max Richter) are the result of this bright collaboration. After these first successful projects, Sofia Vartanian continued the fruitful cooperation with Ilya Zhivoi. She also designed the costumes for the ballets «I’m not scared» (to the music of Ezzio Bosso), which premiered in Switzerland, «Pulcinella» and «Jeu de Cartes» (to the music of Igor Stravinsky) presented on the stage of the Mariinsky Theater. In her works, Sophia Vartanian uses different stylistic solutions, works simultaneously with the classical heritage and modern forms, colour or, on the contrary, monochrome palette, graphics and minimalism. Her works always ideally emphasize music and choreographic style, but at the same time, they attract attention, being an essential part of every performance.
