Stylistically, the house is a fascinating mix of French interior design of the late 19th century and traditional local architecture. The residence was carefully preserved by the Sisters of Menzingen.Alterations to the historical structure were omitted, or were made in a manner which allowed them to be reversed. The vital installations were continually renewed: the house was fitted with a new roof, the windows were entirely replaced a few years ago. The house is fitted with electrtic heating; however, it was designed only to keep the house warm in the summer months.
