The Austrian bass Ulfried Staber is a much sought-after ensemble singer and tours through Europe, Asia and the USA. Apart from the ensembles Cinquecento, schnittpunktvokal and multiple voices he also works regularly with the Huelgas Ensemble, Weser-renaissance, the Balthasar-Neumann-Choir, the Capella Mariana, ars antiqua austria, La grande Chapelle or the Clemencic Consort. His soloist activities range from the middle ages to the contemporary and from the «Marienvesper» by Monteverdi and numerous cantatas and passions by Bach to the premiers of contemporary pieces.
