graduated from the Conservatory Winterthur Zurich with P. Steiner and the Graz University of the Arts with U. Bästlein. In 2001 he was awarded the honorary prize of the Graz University of the Arts and in 2006 and 2013 he was honoured by the Aargauer Board of Trustees. Concerts and scenic productions with music from the renaissance up to the contemporary classical music led him to many European countries as well as Korea, China, Brazil and the USA. Apart from his singing career he works as an Associate Researcher at the Orpheus Institute Gent and is the director of the Conservatory in Winterthur.
