XAVER SONDEREGGER

was born 1977 and gained his first musical experiences at the «Jugendmusik Oberer Rechter Zürichsee». After an apprenticeship to become a structural draughtsman he began his studies at the University of Music and Theatre in Zurich with Stanley Clark in 1998. He graduated in 2005 and began studying at the soloist class from 2006-2007 with Stanley Clark. He complemented his studies through classes with Martin Lehner, Bernhard Bamert and Nils Wogram. Xaver Sonderegger works as a music teacher in several music and canton schools and performs with several ensembles and bands. Furthermore, he was an intern at the Bern Symphonic Orchestra and is currently the solo trombonist at the Bündner Chamber Philarmonics.
